A sweet Italian liqueur that originated in Saronno, Italy, originally flavoured from bitter almonds. Drink neat, as a mixer or added to coffee. Has culinary applications. Pour 750ml of base alcohol into a 1 litre jug, add the contents of this bottle and 275g of granulated sugar and stir thoroughly until the sugar has dissolved. Pour the mixture into a 1 litre bottle and shake until it has fully blended.
